a great childhood
The West Virginia Children's Trust Fund raises money for innovative programs in communities all over the state that help keep children free from abuse and neglect. When you contribute a small or large amount you've done your part to help West Virginia children.
More than 43,000 West Virginia parents, children, professionals and community members receive face-to-face support or training.
More than 123,000 educational materials will make it into the hands of parents, professionals and the public.
And most importantly, your support means happier childhoods for West Virginia children

Prevent Child Abuse
West Virginia announces a Community Grant Opportunity
With funding from the WV Children’s Trust Fund, the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation, and the WV Department of Health and Human Resources, Prevent Child Abuse WV announces a grant opportunity for eligible organizations to apply to join the network of Partners in Prevention teams across the state of West Virginia.
Counties that are eligible to apply include:
Barbour, Boone, Braxton, Calhoun, Clay, Doddridge, Gilmer, Jackson, Lewis, Logan, Mason, Ritchie, Tyler, Wayne, and Wirt.
